I'm excited to work with you at NCCA! This is my 3rd year with the school and my 7th year as a school counselor.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois and my Master’s degree at UNC Chapel Hill. Prior to joining NCCA I worked as a middle school counselor at GEMS World Academy in Dubai, UAE and as a high school counselor at East Chapel Hill High School.
I have an amazing wife, a 10 year old daughter, and baby girl who was born in May 2020. In my own life I love sports, especially soccer and wrestling which I played in high school and college. I also love to travel, and I have been to 22 countries and 48 states.

Before becoming a school counselor, I attended Ferrum College in VA where I received bachelor degrees in Psychology and Music, and then Indiana University of Pennsylvania in PA where I received my Masters Degree in School Counseling.
I worked as a middle and high school counselor in Pittsburgh, PA for the last 17 years. My family and I just moved to the Raleigh/Durham area and we absolutely love the warm weather and friendly people!

This is my 12th year in education. I was a high school Spanish teacher for 4 years before transitioning to School Counseling. I have been a School Counselor for 6 years.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and my Masters of Education in School Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill.
I am a NC native, and grew up in Raleigh. I enjoy reading, traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, spending time with my husband and three daughters, and cheering on the UNC Tarheels. I love working with students to help them meet their highest potential and show them the world of opportunities that are all within their grasp!

As a new North Carolina resident, I am excited to experience “southern hospitality” and all the beautiful weather this state offers. Coming from Milwaukee, WI, I have worked in education since 2005 in various roles.
In 2016, I received my MS in school counseling from Mount Mary University. I love building rapport with students and empowering them to be the best version of themselves.

I received my B.S. in Psychology from Wingate University and my M.Ed. from Liberty University. Prior to joining NCCA, I served as a high school counselor for a traditional, public high school in Rockingham County, NC for nearly six years.
I am passionate about helping students realize their potential and meet success as they navigate throughout high school and beyond.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Chris, and together we have two beautiful daughters. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book, cooking in the kitchen, and spending time with my family. I look forward to working together in support of our school community!

I have been in the social work field for about 7 years and School Social Work for 2 years. I live in Burlington NC, which is near Greensboro.
I have been happily married for 5 years and I have 2 amazing children. My hobbies are singing, watching mystery movies/tv series and shopping on Amazon (I'm obsessed with Amazon!!!). My passion is connecting families and students to resources to help bridge gaps and overcome barriers to education . I am 100% committed to your success!!!

This is my 3rd year as a school social worker. I received my Bachelor's degree from East Carolina University in Family & Community Services.
I graduated from Newman University in 2019 with my Masters in Social Work. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and working to attain full licensure as a clinical therapist in North Carolina.
I enjoy traveling, cooking, and being with friends and family, especially my two Aussiedoodles! I have a strong passion for working with families and helping every student meet their social, emotional, and academic goals. I am here for YOU! I am eager to provide high quality instruction through a viable curriculum and comfortable environment to students at NCCA through a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Getting results through the use of data drives my passion to see ALL students succeed.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Syracuse University and my two Master’s Degrees at The College of Saint Rose (Education) and Gardner Webb University (Educational Leadership). My experience includes work as an exceptional education teacher, state level education consultant, and school administrator.
Along with my educational interests, I enjoy faith based activities, family time and helping my community. Most of my free time is spent reading, hiking, canoeing, gardening, or volunteering. My current community venture is helping youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
